OUR STORY
Figureoutable Farm began in 2012 when we moved to the Waynesville area and started a small garden to enjoy fresh vegetables and preserve our harvest. After years of improving the land and learning through hands-on experience, we expanded in 2020 following agricultural training and a renewed appreciation for the joy of fresh, flavorful food. In 2021, we launched a small honor-system farm stand, selling out of much of what we grew. A turning point came in 2022 when a Scout gardening project introduced cut flowers to our stand, which quickly became a customer favorite. Since then, we’ve continued to grow each year, guided by curiosity, community and a willingness to try new things.

ABOUT FIGUREOUTABLE FARM
Established as a market farm in 2021, Figureoutable Farm is rooted in experimentation and the belief that we can “figure it out” along the way. We grow a mix of heirloom vegetables and seasonal flowers, always including staples like slicer tomatoes, jalapeños, sunflowers and zinnias, while also testing new and unique varieties each season. Some experiments become customer favorites, while others serve as learning experiences, but each year helps us improve. The farm’s name reflects our journey, as a teacher and a data analyst turned farmers, we’ve built everything through trial, error, and persistence. We’re proud to keep learning, growing and sharing that process with our community!
