Just the right amount of heat...
We dedicate a lot of grow space to peppers. We usually grow at least three varieties of bell pepper; Chocolate was a favorite of 2025. The majority of the space are dedicated to added some spice to our lives. We will be returning with the same 5 varieties of jalapenos (Craig’s Giant, Lemon Spice, Pumpkin Spice, Orange Spice, and Brown) that we grew well. We harvested over 30 pounds in 2025. The colors make for more beautiful canned peppers as well as brighten our spice mixes when we dry them....

The Perfect Tomato...
Our farm started as exclusively offering heirloom vegetables. Though they are not as showy as the brightly colored flowers, our vegetables are a source of pride for us. We’ve spent the past 7 years trying to identify and grow tomatoes that truly taste like summer. The vast majority of store-bought tomatoes are picked too soon, primary bred for their commercial growing traits, and generally taste more like cardboard than what a tomato should taste like. Picking the flowers before they are picked...
Just like the anxiously awaited toy catalogs as a child, seed catalogs also start arriving in November. The process of selecting the 2026 flowers for the farm begins many months before they get planted. Our goal is to have a beautiful reminder of our farm in your home as long as possible, so we strive to choose varieties that will last at least a week in a vase of water.
